my practice philosophy

I’m committed to cultivating accessible and affirming movement space for all bodies. I specialize in working with queer, trans, and gnc folks, as well as individuals with chronic pain and/or illness, hypermobility, and folks in larger bodies. I personally have experienced the ways in which toxic fitness culture excludes and alienates people with marginalized identities and bodies that fall outside of the mainstream of what fit is “supposed” to look like. My practice is grounded in love and acceptance. My coaching is trauma-informed, gender affirming, weight neutral, flexible, supportive, and collaborative. I emphasize learning the fundamental principles of strength training and important functional movement patterns that help build strength and capacity for daily life while accommodating for every body’s unique and individual needs. I believe that movement is for everybody and every body: it doesn’t look any single way! As a trainer and coach, I’m here to support you in movement and strength training in ways that feel good for you.
