intro to strength training

$153.00

The self-led introduction to strength program is a 12 week program designed to offer a more accessible and user-friendly introduction to strength training. It is intended for anyone, regardless of experience level, who wants detailed guidance on how to follow an organized resistance training program. I designed it with folks who consistently get left out of traditional fitness spaces in mind: the approach is gender-affirming, weight neutral, and neurodivergent-friendly. For folks who don’t have access to a gym or feel uncomfortable in a training space, this entire program can be completed at your own pace from the privacy of your home.

The program covers the fundamental movement patterns of squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, rotation, and core engagement, but in a way that is self-led at an individual pace. All of the movements can be done different ways so that, as the expert in your own body, you can determine which option works best for you given your current ability, mobility, strength, and comfort level. Every training session includes detailed written instructions and video demonstrations for all movement options and variations to guide you step-by-step. All movement options are done using bodyweight resistance or with the additional resistance of found objects around the house or any training equipment you have access to.

My hope is that by the end of this program you will feel stronger in your everyday life, and more comfortable and confident in engaging in an organized strength training practice! There is an optional feedback survey that you can fill out upon completion of the program.

*Credit card processing fee is included in pricing!
